How to get the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Sunset Beach. To book the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.

  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
