The openness of the home will allow everybody to participate, converse and enjoy their time together. The island has plenty to offer and things to do. It has a golf course, skate park, mini-golf and arcade, eateries, ice cream stores, a grocery store and a new Publix, a splash pad for the kids, parks, fishing either on shore or one of our piers, nature trails, multiple beach accesses, ocean access, inlet access and the Intracoastal Waterway accesses as well. This home is not far from the new bridge, which accepts painless access getting on/off the island. You can enjoy the stores and dining of close by Southport located in where the Cape Fear River, Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean meet. The vistas are beautiful. From there you can take a ferry either to striking Bald Head Island for a day trip or a ferry to Fort Fisher and visit the aquarium. The North Carolina Battleship is a favorite destination in close by downtown Wilmington and Myrtle Beach is just south for even more to do.
