Finding the best vacation home experience:

Finding the best rental value:

  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best value, try changing your family's Southport vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Southport area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Filter your search:

  • Choose your vacation dates and budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Beautiful Sunset Beach Condo Colony II has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you book the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is right for your vacation.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's an individual Southport attraction you simply love, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking

More tips for your stay:

  • Add the host's information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
