Welcome to Tilly's Place where rest and relaxation is encouraged! Updated decor creates an ambiance of comfort and calm. Hear the roar of the surf from the front screened porch or back deck. Literally steps to the beach access and fun on the shore. Sunsets, sunrises, and a short walk to the fishing pier are yours to appreciate. We are on the West End of the island making for a comfortable walk to the Kindred Spirit mailbox.

About the Area

Located in Sunset Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Russell Burgess Coastal Preserve and Heritage Shores Nature Preserve reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Ingram Planetarium and Museum of Coastal Carolina. Tribal Island and Planet Fun are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would back home.
Note any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are assessed.
Be respectful. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
