The kitchen is well outfitted with everything you need to prepare modest meals up to huge Thanksgiving dinners. Kids will appreciate a cabinet full of fun family games. A short trip downstairs takes you directly to the Fork & Cork where you can dine in or relax on their outside patio. Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 

Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm.
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm.
Check-out is by 10 AM. 
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early early or plan to delay your departure.

Pet Policy:
Dogs Only Accepted with Restrictions. Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions. First pet fee is all inclusive. One additional modest dog may be added with additional fee.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to book:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Southport area. To book the best vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Southport visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides contain money saving offers on local shops and restaurants.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great time? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
