Two sizable decks (one covered), deck furnishings, gas grille, enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, beach walkway shower. Well supplied kitchen plus island. Two master suites with porcelain tile baths, two family rooms, and wet bar with 52 lb. commercial ice maker, double wine cooler. Wood floors, tile, carpet, and ceiling fans throughout. Saturday to Saturday units with a 4 p.m. check-in only.

Those with allergies should note that although family pets are not allowed for guest stays, dogs may occasionally be present during owner reservations.

About the Area

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Golf Club and The Reserve Golf Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park. When to book & When to go:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Oak Island. To get the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Southport restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance.
