You must be at least 28 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including kids) must not be under 30 years old.

NO Animals — if you bring an unauthorized pet you will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given.

NO Smoking inside or on/around the premise

NO fire pits or deep fryers allowed on premise

Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises directed towards the parking area and/or entrances for added security and tranquility of mind.

Due to severe allergies some homes may not allow service or support animals. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals prior to booking.

Pool and/or Spa is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All kids must be supervised in the water at all time by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc are allowed in or around the pool. Pools are serviced weekly. Please keep in mind that due to tropical nature of the island, it is not unusual to find unexpected debris and sand in the pool.

The pool is open year round. The heater typically keeps the pool water between 80-84 degrees April 1 - Oct 31 depending on outside air temperatures and weather. There is a $100 fee per day to heat the pool to heat the pool, but we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures. Please keep in mind that the heater only runs when the pump runs and typically the pump does not run at nighttime due to timers.
*Please note, pools will NOT be heated November 1 - March 31, NO EXCEPTIONS*

If your *check in date* is on or between Memorial Day and Labor Day, your cleaning fee does include whole home linen and towel rental fee. All beds will be made up upon arrival with top and fitted sheets, pillow cases, and 1 set of towels will be included per person (1 set includes: 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth), and a kitchen towel.
**In the off-season (Labor Day - Memorial Day), linens and towels are NOT supplied in your reservation and are an optional additional fee of $175 at the time of booking. You can choose to bring your own linens and towels, or rent through a third event. (Last min. bookings: We need at least 24-hour notice in order to provide linens!)**

We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, and a trash can liner per bin.

• June, July, and August are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To get the largest rental for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.

• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
• Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Leave a review! Hosts rely on good ratings to propel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
