Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes.   • Property managers often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to inspire future bookings. They'll be grateful for your review.
