This vacation rental welcomes up to three dogs per reservation year-round and for off-season monthly units.

Three flat screen TV's with DVD players, stereo and wireless internet access. This ocean view home has a screened porch with two tables and chairs. Out back is a fenced area ideal for canine guests. There is also an outside shower with hot and cold water, a park grille, and plenty of parking in the front and back (enough room to bring your boat!). Inside, one bathroom is partially handicap accessible with 36-inch doorways and a roll-in shower.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Caswell Beach and 57th Place West Access Park. Traveling with kids? Consider Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Oak Island. To book the largest vacation home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses.   • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Document any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
