When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

• Summer is high season in the Southport area. To find the best vacation home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
• The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
• Some hosts offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.

• Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible).
