*Hitt'n the Beach*

Welcome to Hitt'n the Beach! A cavernous 3 bedroom, 2 bath first floor condo with a great ocean view. Directly across the street is the beach access (a one-min. walk) and the community pool. We just finished a remodel including granite kitchen countertops, wood floors and fresh paint - you'll appreciate the way it looks. We have a enormous open floor plan with the kitchen, living and dining rooms where everybody can gather and appreciate their vacation time. The deck off the dining room has a great ocean view, sit out and savor a cold drink on a warm summer afternoon.

The living room & all bedrooms have huge flat screen TV's, and we have Wi-Fi and a DVD player. We have parking for 3 cars, one covered, and a locked storage closet in the carport for all your beach gear and bicycles. We also have an outdoor shower to rinse off.

We are a little island but with tons of fun things to do: the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War museum, two boardwalks, two fishing piers, Britt's Donuts (an institution since 1939), Squiggly's Ice Cream Shop, and Freeman Park - where you can drive out and camp right on the beach. We offer complimentary live bands, carnival rides, and fireworks during the summer and of course have some delicious seafood eateries. What more could you want! You can book your reservation right from our website or, if you prefer, give us a call, and we'll be glad to help make your vacation a special one!

Outdoor Pool open May 1st through Oct 15th. An outside HOA company manages this pool. We are not responsible for closings, nor does this qualify you for a refund or discount.

Strategies for getting the perfect Carolina Beach vacation property experience:

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to book:

  • To find the best value, try shifting your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many property management companies supply Southport area visitor guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning, picking, and booking the bestvacation home:

  • Select dates and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Ocean view first floor condo just steps away from the beach and pool. has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Southport vacation rental search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before booking your home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .
  • Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.

Advice for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your smartphone.
  • During check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to drive more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
