Handsome setting in the sought after west end of Oak Island. The beach is just over 1 mile from the home. The home is a 3BR, 2BA open concept home, has a well equipped kitchen & breakfast bar with 4 stools. The sunroom that adjoins the kitchen has a dining table with access to the 'walled garden' . The living room and kitchen are one sizable room--great for quality family time! To the other side of the living room is the study, where there's games, puzzles & a desk in case you need your computer. The primary bedroom has a king size bed & att. full bath. The two other bedrooms share a 3/4 bath in the hallway.
Fire up the grille while the dog plays in the fenced-in area or savor the front porch with a book! There are bicycles for your use, also appreciate beach chairs, cooler & cart for your adventures! Just mins. to local stores , eateries, Farmer's Market & playground for kids at Middleton Park and grocery shopping. 20 min to Southport center and 40 min to Wilmington. WIFI, streaming TV capabilities. There is a washer/dryer for your use, but have linen service as part of the cleaning. You'll adore it here!


*On January 10th, 2023 the Oak Island Town Council voted to approve paid parking on the island. The paid parking will be in effect from April 1 through September 30th and the hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The cost will be $5 per hour, $20 per day and $80 per week. There will be a limited (1000) number of annual passes available for purchase for $175. Violations will be issued if these new rules are not followed.*

When to visit Oak Island & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Southport area. To find the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection.
