My Golden Jewel is a newly refreshed ocean view unit in Carolina Beach’s Sea Colony complex, and is the ideal place for a modest family's vacation or a charming weekend hideaway! This bright and inviting property has everything you’ll need to appreciate your time in coastal heaven. The living room holds a sizable recliner, a sleeper couch and a enormous flat screen TV, and offers access to the covered front balcony - the ideal spot for sipping your morning coffee. The kitchen is entirely supplied with everything you need for a dinner in, if you choose. In the hallway between the living room and the bedroom there is a bunk bed in the alcove that is ideal for kids. The bedroom is at the back of the condo, with a king size bed and access to the bathroom, which was updated in late 2022.

The complex is ocean front with impressive ocean vistas, plenty of parking, a huge pool, and direct beach access. Within walking distance from this complex is a pizza shop, an ice cream shop, the Ocean Grille and Tiki Bar, and a lake with a walking trail.   • The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To book the largest vacation home within budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Southport attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal items. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to propel future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
