One bedroom w/ Queen sized bed & a pullout sleeper couch provides comfort for the whole crew! Full kitchen, washer and dryer in building! Park your car for complimentary and walk to virtually everything Pleasure Island has to offer.

Great area for exploring, beach lovers, shopping, terrific eateries, nightlife, cycling, surfing, sandcastle building, people watching OR just inside the gated area is privacy, if you need that as well!

Walk, bicycle, scoot to everything! Thai food, seafood, Mexican food, steakhouse, hotdogs, BBQ, TWO terrific coffee bars, Malama Cafe & Crush & Grind, everything your heart's delight is tucked away here in the heart of beloved, impressive Carolina Beach! Everything is pretty close but Uber is available on the island.

When to book & When to go:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Southport area. Book your Southport rental in the Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Southport visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides have money saving offers on local tours and attractions.
