Take a break and relax at this peaceful getaway. Our comfortable place sets a calming experience where you can savor sitting on the deck under striking mature trees, or relax in the bright and airy living room. The home has been completely refreshed and nothing was left out! This one bed, one bath is a ideal hideaway spot to appreciate handsome Wilmington!

The sunny living room features 3 walls of windows, but is tucked away on the backside of the home to keep privacy. There's plenty of cozy seating space in the living room, and even a desk area if you need to work remotely. The updated kitchen has all of the essentials that you'd need to enjoy a home cooked meal, and there's a laundry closet off the kitchen for your convenience as well. The bedroom has a king size bed with nice linens and a high end bed. The full bathroom features a elegantly tiled walk-in shower. You'll adore spending time outside on the sizable deck complete with constructed in bench seating and Adirondack chairs!

Guests will have access to the entire apartment as well as the back deck and fenced in back yard. There is another rental unit at the front of the home, but it has a completely separate entrance and does not share any of the outdoor spaces. We are dog friendly but do need to know in advance if you plan on bringing a dog with you during your stay. There is a $100 per dog fee for up to 2 family pets.

There is parking available on the street for your convenience.

Please be sure to review our cancellation policy prior to making your reservation. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance at the time of booking.

Strategies to get the very best rental experience:

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the best value, shift your family's Southport trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many management companies supply Southport area travel guides which will include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Southport visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Make a plan and choose yourvacation home:

  • Select a group leader, choose your dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Sunny Bungalow in Quaint Neighborhood Setting - Dog Friendly has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is often accessible online. Otherwise, email the property manager before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
  • Does your group require unique amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.

Know before you go:

  • Add the host's phone number to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Upon arrival, make note of any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
