Summary:
Located at the corner of front and main in downtown Wrightsville Beach, the WB Abodes team is happy to introduce 'The Tarrymore'. Its name stems from the iconic hotel that sat on the corner of Lumina Ave and Stone street in the early 1900’s.

All three units come equipped with full kitchens, full baths, Juliet balconies, washers and dryers, as well as elevated linens and bath products. 'The Lumina' is a 2 bedroom and 1 bath unit with vistas of Banks Channel.

The Space:
The Lumina is a completely modernized and professionally designed space up-fitted with our highest-end amenities including Parachute linens, Parachute bath towels, Malin & Goetz soaps/hair products and is outfitted with Casa-Blanca coffee! The Lumina ideally balances luxury with a laid back surfer's getaway feel, portraying the two sides of what make Wrightsville Beach so charming.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
The Tarrymore is in the heart of downtown Wrightsville Beach…putting itself within walking distance to the beach and also right across the street from Wrightsville’s favorite nightlife. There is a potential for noise, however during renovations we took as many steps as possible to remedy this by having impact glass windows and doors installed, double sheetrock, insulation and provide white noise machines in each bedroom.

Guest Access:
The Tarrymore is located above the iconic ‘Tower 7’ and is home to three WB Abode units. All of them are 100% private and only share a parking lot and lobby! The Lumina has 1 assigned parking space directly behind the unit, with signage!

Other Things to Note:
1. ***NO EVENTS or exceeding the guest limit***
2. Unit is directly across the street from multiple ‘late nighttime’ establishments so there is a potential for noise Thursday-Sunday.
3. As a professional property management firm, we do require a signed rental agreement per the NCREC.
4. Inclement weather will not be grounds for any refund if within the cancellation period.

About the Area

Located in Wrightsville Beach, this apartment is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Aussie Island Surf Shop and Cape Fear Paddleboarding are also worth visiting.

When to book & When to go:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to drive new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review find their best rental home.
