Summary:
The Sand-Bar has 4 bedrooms (6-beds / sleeps ten), 3 baths, 2 balconies, a living room, and a well-supplied kitchen and pantry, with gas grille and blackstone for those who want to prepare. Each room comes with its own intelligent TV if you want to find solitude and relax behind a closed door.
The 2-car garage has a dart board, cornhole boards and a ping pong table. We are just 3 blocks off the beach and centrally located to the boardwalk, eateries, stores and live music.

The Space:
We are well equipped for beach time - 2 beach chairs, bocce ball set, sand toys, cooler, beach towels and blanket. If you simply can’t unplug from work, take advantage of our home office set-up in the master bedroom.

After spending the day at the beach, come back and shower-off in the outside shower, with both hot and cold water, as well as supplied soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

About the Area

Carolina Beach is home to this villa. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting.

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Southport area. Booking your Southport vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.   • Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks spoil your holiday.
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to propel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best rental home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
