The Sunsetter sits right across the bridge onto Wrightsville Beach overlooking Banks Channel and is just steps from the beach.  It has been uniquely remodeled with one of a kind finishes and tasteful interior design, paying homage to the building's history while bringing it up to date with a Malibu surf style feel!  It has quickly become one of Wrightsville Beach’s most exclusive stays with its biggest attraction being the nearly 800sq.ft. completely turfed private rooftop deck.

Paid parking is enforced from 03/01-10/31, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily at the rate of $5.00 per hour.

  • The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. Reserve your rental property in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking websites. If not, email the property owner before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others do not. Acceptable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's a specific Southport attraction you are enamored with, search for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Tips for a wonderful stay:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.

  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • During arrival, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your peace. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to inspire future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation rental.
