When to book & When to go:

  • Summer is high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To find the best value, try changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance.   • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
