~We are located on the coast and adverse weather is sometimes a factor, Please understand we DO NOT offer refunds for adverse weather conditions we will give you a credit for any monies paid to use for alternate dates within 60 days. We encourage you to purchase trip insurance through your local travel agent for such things as hurricanes and snow storms. Hurricane season is from June 1st thru November 30 please make a note of this when booking.

~We will supply a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, a few dishwasher pods, modest bars of hand soap beside sinks, and a few trash bags (kept under the current trash bag in the can). Please plan accordingly on what you need to bring depending on your length of stay.

When to visit Wilmington & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Southport area. To book the best rental for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Southport attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance.
