Our Gang, an original unique privately owned, pet friendly, 2nd row home on the East end of the Island. Interior amenities include a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, central heat & air, 5 color cable TVs, WIFI & ceiling fans. Exterior amenities include an outside shower, screened porch, sun deck and a sitting area under the home. This is stringently a ***NON SMOKING HOME***home & accepts up to 2 dogs per rental unit for an additional Fee. No cats and no birds allowed. HOME IS NOT EQUIPPED FOR ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING.

Sunset Beach is home to this vacation home. Cherry Grove Pier and Rees Jones Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Ingram Planetarium and Museum of Coastal Carolina. Tribal Island and Planet Fun are also worth visiting.

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • If your group is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

Tips to have a great stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to stimulate new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
