The Space:
All Going Coastal properties include bed linens, bathing towels, paper products, and soaps/shampoos. Please bring your own beach gear, or we can recommend our favorite local vendors for units.

The bungalow is close to everything. Mix of visitors and year round residents.

We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

Carolina Beach is home to this condo. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting.

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best rental home for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Southport restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.   • Go through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to propel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
