The Space:
All Going Coastal properties include bed linens, bathing towels, paper products, and soaps/shampoos. Please bring your own beach gear, or we can recommend our favorite local vendors for units.

The Neighborhood:
The bungalow is close to everything. Mix of visitors and year round residents.

Getting Around:
- Free parking at home

-Walk, bicycle, public parking at beaches and in town

-Bicycle and golf cart units are available on the island- let our Going Coastal team know if you need any recommendations.

-Uber cars and taxi's are also available

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

About the Area

Carolina Beach is home to this condo. Federal Point History Center and Ocean Front Park are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Carolina Beach Arcade and Good Hops Brewing. Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting.

When to reserve a Southport rental home & When to go:

Summer time is high season in Carolina Beach. Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.
