The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less busy than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less busy island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf stores, eateries, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart units. The backside of the island has peaceful protected water great for kayaking.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this condo is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting.

Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
