The Islander Villas Community is on the west end of the island which has a much wider beach and is less busy than the upper end. The Islander Villas community has a very nice ocean front pool club with pool, hot tub, kiddie pool, outdoor tiki bar all on the ocean front as well as 4 community tennis courts.
Ocean Isle Beach is a south facing barrier island with 7 miles of beach on the Atlantic Ocean, located 12 miles south of the NC/SC border. Ocean Isle Beach is a much quieter and less busy island than areas like Myrtle Beach, etc. The beach is spectacular and is very wide and clean with a nice gentle slope. The island has a fishing pier, arcade, surf stores, eateries, museum, ice cream parlor, mini golf course, bicycle, jet ski, kayak, boat and golf cart units. The backside of the island has peaceful protected water great for kayaking.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this villa is near the beach. Rees Jones Golf Course and Leopard's Chase Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Ocean Isle Beach and Sage Island. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting.

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
