Finding the best Holden Beach vacation rental experience:

Finding the best rental value:

  • To book the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies supply Southport area travel guides which include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Southport area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Filter your rental search:

  • Start by having your family select trip dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Eastside Duplex - Charming Oceanfront Duplex! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what configuration is best for your trip.
  • If there's an individual Southport beach you crave, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
  • To make sure no damages are attributed to your family's visit, note any problem areas during check in. text the host right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or thermostat. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible source for finding the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a great time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
