  • In the Southport area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses.
