Historic appeal without the crazy price. Only one block from downtown Wilmington, NC. Walk the river front and visit the many privately owned stores and eateries of every imaginable kind. Visit museums or many historic sites dating back before the revolutionary war. You can also ride the various trolleys or horse drawn carriages. Maybe the famed ghost tour is more to your liking.
