Mellow Yellow is a comfortable and cheerful vacation rental just four blocks from the beach! You will savor the fresh paint and cute decor, along with two enormous sun decks with enough room for the whole family to appreciate the warm weather. Come relax and relax in this ideal hideaway!  Looking for a 6 bedroom? Ground Level:
Our home has security cameras monitoring the entry door.
Parking under home and on left side driveway for 4 cars, outdoor shower, grassy yard, outdoor seating area with seating vignette, door to interior stairwell 

Level 2:
Living Room - Couch, 2 chairs, coffee table, ceiling fan, 55 " intelligent TV, access to front covered porch.
Kitchen - Totally equipped kitchen, bartop with seating for 4.
Guest Bedroom 1: Full-size bed, 32" HD TV.
Guest Bathroom: Vanity with shower/tub combo.
Washer and Dryer: Located in the hallway

Level 3:
Primary Bedroom Suite: Private sun deck, queen size bed, 40" TV, side chair, ceiling fan, Ensuite bathroom with double vanity and a shower/tub combo.
Guest Bedroom 2: Two twin beds, side chair, and 32" TV.
Guest Bathroom: Vanity with shower/tub combo.

Parking: for 4 cars, covered spaces available
Security Cameras are located in the parking area of this property. 

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am. 
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pet Policy:
One dog allowed, 50lbs MAX.  Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famed Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Located on a river, this vacation home is in Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. • Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
• At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
• Did you have a terrific vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
