*Additional Fees
- Dog fee of $200/per stay (1 dog per reservation). Family Animals are allowed in the outdoor areas, 1st floor, and 2nd floor of the home. We kindly request no family pets on the 3rd floor or in beds. Accessories including dog beds are supplied in the laundry room closet. Equipment is sanitized between stays.

- Pool heating fee of $150/day. Please let us know which days of your reservation you'd like the heated pool active. This cost reflects the increase in cost of propane to keep the pool heated. Payment must be received before heating is turned on. No additional charge for use of hot tub.

*We are kid-friendly! Utensils, plates, bowls, and cups for kids are available. Wooden high-chair and Pack n Play are included. A step up stool for kids to reach the sink are on each floor.

*Please note that we do not offer refunds for weather-related issues, power outages, natural disasters, or any other circumstances beyond our control. We recommend using 3rd event trip insurance if there is concern for weather related issues.

*We provide an initial stock of basic supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, K-cups/teabags, soap, dishwashing pods, laundry detergent pods, linens, and body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. You may need to obtain more for the remainder of your stay.

Sticking to a budget:

• To book the largest rental within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
• In the Southport area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
• Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
• Property management companies often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
