The Space:
On the top floor, you'll find two king bedrooms offering coastal comfort and space to catch up on your Zs. Additionally, the top level features a beautiful bunk bed with a twin on top and a full-size bed below, ideal for families and siblings, or groups of friends.

Relish the coastal breeze on our wrap-around porch. Kids can lead their own conversations at the kiddie picnic table, while adults savor enchanting outdoor meals at their own full size table. The sizable carport area is a haven for relaxation, featuring a hammock swaying under the shade of oak trees and another picnic table for casual gatherings.

Parking is a breeze with space for up to 4 cars. Inside, a completely supplied kitchen awaits your culinary adventures. Feel complimentary to whip up your favorite meals or snacks while appreciating the company of your adored ones. There is plenty of space in the yard and carport for kids and adults alike to let out their last remaining energy from the beach day. Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Smith Island Museum of History and Franklin Square Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and The Reserve Golf Club at St. James Plantation. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.

When to book & When to go:

  • Summer time is high season in the Southport area. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.

  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your vacation.
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on good reviews to inspire more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review.
