Heaven Found! Beach Dreamin' Too has everything you need for an impressive coastal adventure. You can spend your days on or in the water and savor gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the giant screened porch overlooking the Waterway. Three kayaks are available for Waterway exploration, and a sink with running water is on the private dock for cleaning your daily catch. The outdoor shower has hot and cold water. Meal prep will be a breeze in the enormous, well equipped kitchen. In addition, gas and charcoal grilles are ready for your use. The open living/dining room overlooks the porch and Waterway and is ideal for entertaining or calming with friends and family. If you are looking for some peaceful time you'll find many indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and appreciate the alluring view. Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses.   • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
