We are animal lovers and allow up to two mature dogs in our home on a case by case basis but are committed to keeping our home in striking condition for all our guests. Please let us know if you are interested in bringing your pet. We require a signed pet addendum and a $200 pet fee.

When to go & When to book:

• In the Southport area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
• Book your vacation home in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.

• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.

If your rental and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it.
