We have two oceanfront units at Carolina Beach:

This gorgeous condo has a fantastic view of the ocean and the pool. It's a cavernous one-bedroom with a king bed, a top-floor unit for up to six guests. The pool is humongous (closes October 1) and has a gated grass area with a bbq and private beach access. Linens are included! There is ample parking, and it's close to the eateries and nightlife! You will adore this top-floor oceanfront unit!

Interaction with guests:
Since we travel all the time, we use a fantastic management company that has been in the tourism industry for many years. They will be able to answer any questions and take care of any issues 24 hrs a day. Please savor this home as if it were yours.

Check-in procedures:
I will supply you with an electronic code before you arrive. This will allow you to enter the front door. An owner's storage downstairs has some of my things inside. Feel complimentary to use that for your beach stuff.

About the Area

Located in Wilmington Beach, a neighborhood in Carolina Beach, this condo is near theme parks and on the beach. Ocean Front Park and Federal Point History Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit Carolina Beach & When to reserve a Carolina Beach rental home:

• Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the largest vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Southport attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• In the Southport area, The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
• Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to stimulate more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your experience find their best rental home. Be fair with your review.
