New for 2024: New living room couches!

For a really great beach experience, come stay at our oceanfront condo on Carolina Beach! You'll walk in and say "Wow" once you see the view. When you notice all the windows and glass sliders we have overlooking the ocean, you'll understand why we think this is one of the best condos on the whole island- there is no better place to appreciate your morning cup of coffee (or evening glass of wine) than our deck!

This is a third floor (top floor, Unit F) condo with broad vistas of the whole beach. We have three bedrooms, and 2 full baths. We have a huge ocean side deck, a balcony off the primary bedroom facing the inlet, and another balcony off the second bedroom with a side view of the ocean. The living room has a enormous wall mounted TV, Wi-Fi, a DVD player, and games for you to savor. The primary bedroom has a new (2023) king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has bunk beds- a twin on top and full size bed below, and all three bedrooms have TVs. The kitchen is completely outfitted, and the unit also has a new (2023) washer & dryer for your convenience.

We are a little island but with tons of fun things to do: the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War museum, our famed boardwalk, two fishing piers, Britt's Donuts (an institution since 1939), Squigley's Ice Cream Shop, and Freeman Park - where you can drive out and camp right on the beach. We offer complimentary live bands, carnival rides, and fireworks during the summer and of course have some delicious seafood eateries. What more could you want? When to reserve a Southport rental home & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses.   • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
