This is a centrally located (north Wilm) attached mother-in-law suite in a peaceful, safe residential neighborhood 10 mins. from Wrightsville Beach, UNCW, downtown Wilmington, Mayfaire shopping center, movie studio and airport.

Included are a mini-refrigerator, microwave, electric skillet, coffee maker and coffee bean grinder, wifi, and TV with Disney +, Max, and Netflix. We have a play kitchen for kids and games for everybody.

This studio is self-sufficient so access is to your suite only. There's a patio just outside for smoking. Your rooms are private from the home.

Wilmington rental home booking tips:

When to visit Wilmington & When to reserve a Southport rental home:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Wilmington. To get the best value, shift your family's Southport vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Southport visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Selecting the perfect rental home:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. King, Pets+, Near concerts, downtown, and UNCW, Private Suite has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, call the host before you book the property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
  • If there's a specific Southport destination you are crazy about, look for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.

Advice for a great stay:

  • Add the property manager's information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • At Check-in, note any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
