Have you gone "Coast to Coast?" Look no further for your ideal coastal hideaway than this freshly remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanfront home on Oak Island! Located on the coveted West End of the island, Coast to Coast features comfort and relaxation for you and the entire family. Highlights include direct beach access, multiple outdoor decks overlooking the Atlantic, an open floor plan with relaxing coastal vibes, and modern touches throughout. You'll also notice the home is located less than 2 miles from the Ocean Crest Pier and close to many of the exceptional local eateries and stores!

One of our favorite features of this home is the broad oceanfront deck! It's ideal for appreciating your morning coffee while listening to the waves, lying out in the sun during the afternoon, or calming while watching the sunset in the evening with your favorite beverage in hand. There's even a dining table that's great for gathering around to grab a fast lunch or have a oceanside family dinner together. From here, you just need to walk down the back steps to get to your direct beach access.

Inside, you'll find a cavernous living room with beautiful vaulted ceilings and ample windows to take in the exceptional ocean vistas! Unwind and relax on the jumbo sectional couch and watch your favorite shows together on the huge flatscreen TV. A few steps away is the entirely equipped chef's kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances, floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, plenty of counter space, and a elegant kitchen island with bar seating for up to 3. When you're ready to sit down for a meal together, the bright and airy dining area has seating for up to 8.

And, when it's time to rest and recharge, you'll find each bedroom is equipped with intelligent TVs and ceiling fans. The primary suite is on the second floor and features a king-size bed along with a private oceanside balcony where you can escape for a peaceful moment away from it all. The primary bathroom on this top level offers a charmingly tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity to give you plenty of counter space. The second bedroom upstairs with two bunk beds makes for a great coastal getaway for the younger travelers in your group. You'll even find a additional loft area on this floor with a couch and TV area that's gorgeous for the kids to hang out after the day at the beach.

Heading back downstairs, you'll find two additional serene bedrooms! The first has impressive ocean vistas and a queen-size bed, while the second offers calming community vistas and a queen-size bed. These bedrooms share the downstairs bathroom, which is just as spa-like as the primary bathroom, with a roomy tiled walk-in shower, modern finishes, and an extended vanity.

But all of this is only the start of the amazing amenities you'll have when you stay here! There is an outside shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after a day at the beach, wireless internet, and so much more. If one thing is sure, heaven awaits you at Coast to Coast!

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear units during your stay! You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more! The choice is yours! Booking the best Oak Island rental home experience:

Get the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are high season in Oak Island. To find the best rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many management companies supply Southport area travel guides that include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Southport visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Make a plan and choose the bestrental home:

  • Start by having your family agree to date ranges and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Renovated Oceanfront Cottage w\/ Direct Beach Access: Coast to Coast has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible online. If not, call the host before you book the property. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You will need to work out what is optimal for your vacation.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .

Have a great stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute arises.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
