-We have a Saturday to Saturday seven-nighttime minimum during June and July. A three-nighttime minimum all other times.

This cavernous one bedroom, one bath, second floor vacation rental includes a king bed and 1100 square feet of living space. It is a mile from Sunset Beach and between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. The villa overlooks the spectacular Maples course--one of three signature golf courses at Sea Trail Resort.

Unwind in comfort in the huge living room with a flat screen TV and comfortable seating. The screened porch is accessible from the living room and bedroom. Sprawl out on the king size bed and savor not only the view but your favorite TV shows also.

The unit is entirely equipped with dishes, pots, pans and complimentary spices. Take advantage of the enormous laundry room with washer and dryer to avoid packing tons of clothing! The freshly modernized bathroom offers space galore. Appreciate the roomy dining area or snack at the bar – stools supplied.

About the Area

Located in Sea Trail, a neighborhood in Sunset Beach, this condo is next to a golf course and by the sea. Museum of Coastal Carolina and Sunset River Marketplace are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Rees Jones Golf Course and Willard Byrd Golf Course. Ingram Planetarium and Tribal Island are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to your spending budget:

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking your Southport vacation rental in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on great reviews to stimulate more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
