Come for the beach, stay for the town of Southport! Just a nineteen min. drive will get you over the bridge and onto the beach! Appreciate access to the exclusive, Private St. James Plantation Beach Club with Oceanfront Pool, bathrooms, and private beach strand. (Note that paid, public parking on 72nd street will need to be utilized.)
With a plethora of nature hiking, library, and restaurant options, you never have to leave the neighborhood! But if you want to go adventuring, you will also have Traveler access to the Marsh Winds pool, transient boat docking in the marina, access to the Intracoastal Waterway, and the private Beach Club in Oak Island. Not to mention the many award winning eateries on the water in Southport, 5 mins. away!

The Marsh Winds pool will typically be open for use from May 1st to the second week of October.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

*Parking Lot with Unassigned Parking Spaces. *St. James Plantation has 4 entrances, only the main gate on HWY 211 is manned 24/7. *The Beach Club is for Guest Use, however: Private Parking is for Owners ONLY.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
