Finding the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Bald Head Island. To find the best rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • In the Southport area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection.
