Located in gorgeous Carolina Beach, this elegant oceanfront property features a heated saltwater pool that lights up at nighttime, private beach access with shower, two elevators and parking for 8 cars.

Waves & Sun encompasses both sides of the duplex -- the southern side, Permanent Waves (vrbo #4210037) and the northern side, Our Place in the Sun (vrbo #286589)-- and has 10 bedrooms with 8 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. Each side is a mirror image of the other with water vistas from nearly every room.

This property is ideal for enormous family gatherings!!

The owners use the properties throughout the year so it is fresh with all the amenities of home. In an effort to keep the property in top shape for all of our guests, we require a 4 day minimum stay in the off-season and a Sunday to Sunday 7-day stay in the summer.

On the north side of the duplex -- Unit 1 -- front and rear balconies provide water vistas from 4 of the 5 bedrooms with ocean vistas available from the 2 king rooms and waterway vistas from the 2 queen rooms. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the dining table and 2 bars provide seating for up to 14 with additional table seating for 4 on the oceanfront porch. Flat screen, Roku TVs are in every bedroom and in the main gathering space. Wi-Fi is available throughout the unit.

Bedroom 1 is on the top floor and features a king bed, huge bathroom with jetted tub and tiled shower, loveseat with pull-out twin, sizable oceanfront balcony with swing. Bedroom 2 is located on the top floor and has a queen bed, huge bathroom, and handsome waterway vistas. Bedroom 3 is located oceanfront on the 1st floor with a king bed and seating available on the oceanside porch. Bedroom 4 is on the 1st floor waterway side and has a queen bed. It shares a full bath with Bedroom 5 which has a twin over twin set of bunk beds and a twin trundle. The living floor (located on the middle floor) has two three-cushion couches. There are air beds and portable cribs available for additional sleeping space.

On the south side of the duplex -- Unit 2 -- front and rear balconies provide water vistas from 4 of the 5 bedrooms with ocean vistas available from the 2 oceanside rooms and waterway vistas from the 2 streetside rooms. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the dining table and 2 bars provide seating for up to 14 with additional table seating for 4 on the oceanfront porch. Flat screen, Roku TVs are in every bedroom and in the main gathering space. Wi-Fi is available throughout the unit.

Each unit has its own private, outdoor hot & cold shower, propane gas grille, multiple body boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a beach cart, sand toys and pool floats.

During your stay, each side will receive a welcome bag with paper towels, napkins, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods and other goodies to make your stay more enchanting.

The cleaning fee on each side includes linen service. All beds will be made when you arrive and stripped when you leave. Bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, bath mats, wash cloths and beach towels are included.

Located in Carolina Beach, this vacation home is on the beach. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection.
