Located in handsome Carolina Beach, this gorgeous oceanfront property features a heated saltwater pool that lights up at nighttime, private beach access with shower, two elevators and parking for 8 cars.

Waves & Sun encompasses both sides of the duplex -- the southern side, Permanent Waves (vrbo #4210037) and the northern side, Our Place in the Sun (vrbo #286589)-- and has 10 bedrooms with 8 full bathrooms and 2 half baths. Each side is a mirror image of the other with water vistas from nearly every room.

This property is ideal for sizable family gatherings!!

The owners use the properties throughout the year so it is fresh with all the amenities of home. In an effort to keep the property in top shape for all of our guests, we require a 4 day minimum stay in the off-season and a Sunday to Sunday 7-day stay in the summer.

On the north side of the duplex -- Unit 1 -- front and rear balconies provide water vistas from 4 of the 5 bedrooms with ocean vistas available from the 2 king rooms and waterway vistas from the 2 queen rooms. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the dining table and 2 bars provide seating for up to 14 with additional table seating for 4 on the oceanfront porch. Flat screen, Roku TVs are in every bedroom and in the main gathering space. Wi-Fi is available throughout the unit.

Bedroom 1 is on the top floor and features a king bed, huge bathroom with jetted tub and tiled shower, loveseat with pull-out twin, sizable oceanfront balcony with swing. Bedroom 2 is located on the top floor and has a queen bed, huge bathroom, and striking waterway vistas. Bedroom 3 is located oceanfront on the 1st floor with a king bed and seating available on the oceanside porch. Bedroom 4 is on the 1st floor waterway side and has a queen bed. It shares a full bath with Bedroom 5 which has a twin over twin set of bunk beds and a twin trundle. The living floor (located on the middle floor) has two three-cushion couches. There are air beds and portable cribs available for additional sleeping space.

On the south side of the duplex -- Unit 2 -- front and rear balconies provide water vistas from 4 of the 5 bedrooms with ocean vistas available from the 2 oceanside rooms and waterway vistas from the 2 streetside rooms. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the dining table and 2 bars provide seating for up to 14 with additional table seating for 4 on the oceanfront porch. Flat screen, Roku TVs are in every bedroom and in the main gathering space. Wi-Fi is available throughout the unit.

It shares a full bath with Bedroom 5 which has a twin over twin set of bunk beds and a twin trundle. The living floor (located on the middle floor) has two three-cushion couches. There are air beds and portable cribs available for additional sleeping space.

Each unit has its own private, outdoor hot & cold shower, propane gas grille, multiple body boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a beach cart, sand toys and pool floats.

During your stay, each side will receive a welcome bag with paper towels, napkins, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods and other goodies to make your stay more fun.

The cleaning fee on each side includes linen service. All beds will be made when you arrive and stripped when you leave. Bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, bath mats, wash cloths and beach towels are supplied.
