Everything you need in a home! We have an open floor plan with the main living and master suite downstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and cavernous bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms with a shared bath. The second bedroom has a king bed and the third bedroom has 2 twins. Outside is a separate room (crofter). Our unique crofter has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and dining area. There is a queen bed, a queen murphy bed and a bathroom. There is plenty of room for another family! The outside space is just as nice! We have a great screened in porch and plenty of outdoor space with our fenced in back yard. We also have a 4 and a 6 passenger cart. We have thought of everything to make your stay with us ideal and memorable!

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including wildlife walks.

When to visit Bald Head Island & When to book:

• To book the most suitable rental home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Southport restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.

• Go through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
