"Black Rose" is a great four bedroom home just a short cart ride to South Beach! The main living area consists of a king master suite and a guest room with two twins and a bathroom. We have a traditional floor plan with the living room, dining and kitchen on the first floor. We also have a great additional room off of the kitchen ideal for relaxation and some separation when needed :) Upstairs we have two more bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed and the other bedroom is all for the kids! We have two twins in a sizable open room, which is ideal for spreading out! Appreciate the broad front porch and expansive front yard. You feel like you have plenty of privacy yet painless access to all the amenities on the island. The Wildlife outlook is within walking distance so come see the gators

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. Get the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
