Surf's Up is a handsome oceanfront 3-story 1900 sq ft duplex tucked in the middle of Flora's Bluff on Bald Head Island. The main home consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths and there is a separate 1 bedroom and 1 bath 'crofter.'
The beach is right across the cul-de-sac with access through a public walkway. Everyone can congregate around the kitchen bar, huge dining room table or relax on the comfortable couches and watch some T.V.. The kitchen is completely equipped with enough silverware, cookware and dishes to make you feel right at home. A enormous screened in porch with plenty of seating is the ideal spot to relax and feel the ocean breeze.
On the second floor, you will find the master bedroom with a king sized bed, private bath and a private oceanfront balcony. Just down the hallway is a queen sized bed with a shared bathroom. The upstairs has even more accommodations with another queen bed and two twin beds. A fourth bedroom located in the separate guest home called a 'crofter' is the ideal spot for guest(s) that want a little more privacy. With a queen bed and a private bath, your guests can come and go without disturbing anyone in the main home.

Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in South Beach, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach. Traveling with kids? Consider North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center.   • In the Southport area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the largest rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Southport attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance.
