Elegant 3 bedroom and 3 bath villa located directly on the 18th green of the golf course with great lagoon vistas! We are walking distance to the BHI Club as well as a short 2-min. walk to the beach! The kitchen and baths were freshly refreshed with handsome countertops, stainless steel appliances and wood floor throughout. The master suite has a queen bed overlooking the great vistas of the golf course! The guest bedroom downstairs has a king bed and full bath. Upstairs there is a queen bed, full bath and balcony. We also have an outdoor shower! A BHI Lifestyle membership to the BHI Club may be purchased separately.

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Old Brunswick County Jail Museum and Fort Fisher State Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Get the best value:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Southport area. To find the best value, change your family's Southport vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
• In the Southport area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your group.
• If there's a specific Southport beach you crave, look for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.

• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
• Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect your property!
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
