You will be greeted by a southern lower level covered front porch where you can appreciate calming while listening to the ocean. Outdoor living continues with the unique 3rd-story covered deck high above the tree-tops (affectionately called “the nest”) which is really an extended outdoor second “family room” where you will likely spend a significant amount of your time relaxing and socializing. It is equipped with an outside kitchen, cushy seating and ocean breezes and vistas. You will appreciate to use this hard-to-leave location for morning coffee, afternoon napping, meal grilling, evening drinks, and of course sunset watching. And if you want still more outdoor space, savor the two lower screened-in porches (one relaxing, one dining), multiple kid hangout places, and a private fenced-in yard.Windansea is located on a private, huge lot, surrounded by trees and natural vegetation just steps to the Ocean and Shoals Club. Between 212 and 214 Portsmouth Way you will find a wooden plank pathway that goes over the “hill" where you cross Station House Way to #41 Beach Access. The home is laid out in a reverse floor plan with the primary living space on the second floor, which is at the tree-top level accepting for sunlight to cascade in from the sunrise to sunset. There are dual Master Bedrooms both with King-size Beds and ensuite Bathrooms giving you the choice to sleep downstairs (closer to younger kids) or upstairs (further from older ones). There are two Queen Guest rooms - one with a trundle bed and they share a Jack and Jill bathroom. And, if you need an escape or have a bigger group, there is a separate Crofter over the double Garage area that is the 5th Bedroom with a King Bed and an ensuite Bathroom, mini-refrigerator and counter. “Close but still away” is how we like to describe this private space. The Crofter Deck is a ideal spot for stargazing after a relaxing day at the beach.The main living area is open, sizable and can hold tons of people at any one time, making family gatherings super painless and all inclusive. The Southport Salty Patriot is a comfortable 1930s beach bungalow that is ideal for your coastal getaway! Centrally-located and walking distance to downtown Southport, you can savor the stores and eateries, spend the day at close by Oak Island, or take the ferry over to handsome Bald Head island...countless possibilities! The home is refreshed throughout and attractively designed. The backyard is completely fenced with a firepit so you and your family can be comfort...come appreciate our coastal beach town!The Southport Salty Patriot sits in a cozy neighborhood right outside of downtown Southport. As you pull up to the home you will see our red, white, and blue home that was the inspiration for the name! There is a gravel drive to the right where you can park. You will then enter through the red door on the HUGE front porch!As you enter the home, you will see that it has an open layout that is great for hosting your crew. Simple to entertain and stay connected through the stay. On your right will be the living area where there is a giant sectional for your movie nights or naps after the beach! The home has a Intelligent TV for all your viewing needs. This living space is open to the dining area that has a huge table for your meals or game nights! On the other side of the dining area is a bar which is part of the entirely loaded kitchen! This kitchen is ready to roll for you and has tons of space for all your cooking needs.To the left of the home you will find the bedrooms. The first bedroom has two beds in it. A queen bed, a twin bed, and trundle underneath are all there with full linens. This room has a Intelligent TV so you can escape for a bit or have a place for the kids to watch a movie! The Primary bedroom is closer to the back of the home where there is a queen bed and an en suite. This room and bathroom are very cavernous. Appreciate an marvelous CLAWFOOT bathtub and walk in shower on your calming evenings in this luxury getaway!In the back of the home, you have access to a modern full bath and laundry room! There you will also find some beach essentials like a chair, cooler and more.Outback we have a FULLY fenced backyard with a firepit, seating, and a table.
