"Bay Breeze" is a three bedroom / two bath located in the Maritime forest off of North Bald Head Wynd. This home is tucked around great Live Oaks giving you the feel of being in an actual tree home! The huge, broad windows let in tons of light and the open floor plan is great for family gatherings. The first level contains a garage and entry way. The second floor within the tops of the trees has the main living area. Please note there are not blinds for these windowns. The kitchen is well outfitted and lives very well. Upstairs is the master king suite as well as two more bedrooms with a shared bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen and the 3rd bedroom has two twins. Outside we have numerous expansive decks. Downstairs there is an outdoor shower and plenty of room for outdoor grilling. Upstairs off of the living is a nice screened in porch with an outdoor dining area and a hammock. Right off of the screened porch is a sun bathing deck.

  • In the Southport area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summertime is high season in the Southport area. To find the best value, change your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses.   • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
