Summary:
This oceanfront condo offers unobstructed ocean vistas and an open floor plan. From the living room of this 3 BR condo your attention is immediately drawn out the double sliding doors to the ocean. The ocean vistas continue from the main BR which shares access to the broad oceanfront deck via another set of sliding doors. Both guest bedrooms are extremely roomy This unit has an spectacular location and is an simple bicycle ride to the boardwalk!

The Space:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

The neighborhood is close to everything. Mix of visitors and year round residents.

- Centrally located to access all outdoor activities "Pleasure Island" has to offer: fishing, boating, cycling, surfing, kayaking, and deep sea charters. Many fantastic eateries , eclectic drinking holes and coffee stores + Historic Ft. Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Check out the new mural project around Carolina Beach too!

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

Carolina Beach is home to this condo. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting.

Tips and Tricks to get the optimal vacation rental experience:

Getting the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the most suitable rental within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses.   • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before booking your rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is suitable for your group.
  • If there's an individual Southport attraction you are enamored with, browse rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
  • Make a record of any issues with the property at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
