A 15-20 min. drive to Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach a 30 min. drive.   • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Wilmington. Book your rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.   • The sooner you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.

  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it.
