We charge $100/day to heat the pool. During the winter months, please note that we are unable to guarantee the pool heater will reach a temperature that is entirely satisfying. The highest the heater can go is 86°F, and there’s also a risk of the pipes being too cold to turn on the heater. If temperatures drop below 30°F, we are unable to activate it. Find your perfect rental:

  • In the Southport area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
  • To book the largest vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Southport attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great ratings to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
