Constructed in 2017, the home comes completely furnished for modern coastal living with perks and highlights including an all-new and completely up-to-date interior, a sizable covered porch with gorgeous beach vistas, an outdoor shower, and a beach wagon packed with toys for countless family fun on the sand. Catch phenomenal sunrise vistas from the front porch before loading up the wagon and strolling less than a block to the beach. The 30th Place West Dock is less than two blocks behind the home. Evenings can be adored roasting s'mores around the wood-burning firepit in the yard.

As a new addition to the vacation rental market, the home's immaculate interior is complimentary from everyday wear and tear. All the furnishings and appliances have seen little use and are sure to provide ultimate, carefree comfort. The stainless steel full kitchen makes it painless to plan and prepare home-cooked meals. Intelligent TVs and board games are supplied for home entertainment. Free WiFi is equipped for streaming, web browsing, or remote working.

About the Area

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and The Reserve Golf Club at St. James Plantation. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.

  • Summertime is high season in Oak Island. To find the best value, try changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.

  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance.   • Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
