Whether you choose to sunbath on the broad deck, head to the beach or take a walk on the island greenway, Ocean Haze is your ideal destination! Centrally located one mile between downtown CB and Kure Beach. Features: ✭ 8 beach chairs, umbrella, fishing utility cart, surf boards ($550 value per week) ✭ Ample driveway space to park a trailer for up to 28’ boat ($100 value per week) ✭ 2 full kitchens for multiple families! This quintessential beach home offers charming natural lighting and ocean vistas. It sleeps up to 10 guests, features 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms: ✭ 3rd Floor Primary Bedroom: King bed with full bathroom ✭ 2nd Floor Guest Bedroom: Queen bed with shared full bathroom ✭ 2nd Floor Guest Bedroom: Two queen beds with shared full bathroom ✭ 1st Floor Primary Bedroom: King bed with full bathroom The first floor can be its’ own apartment as it has a separate kitchen and entrance. This is a great option if you are traveling with two families! Please note it is connected to the main home and is only lockable from the second floor. Both kitchens include a standard dishwasher, oven, electric burners, microwave, refrigerator and ice maker. For your convenience all plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, cutlery and cookware are also included. We have also outfitted the main kitchen with extras including a coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, pizza stone and griddle. The outside features include ample deck space and seating, a grille, 3 outdoor showers and enormous fenced in backyard. You can take the supplied beach chairs, umbrella and body boards and head across the street to the beach access. There is a convenient crosswalk that lights up to stop traffic from both directions. There is also ample driveway parking to accommodate up to 6 cars or even a boat trailer if you plan to bring one with you on vacation. Our home is conveniently located across from the Alabama beach access. The island greenway trail starts at the end of Alabama Ave if you plan to go for a walk, bicycle ride or just need some exercise. The entire island is very bicycle friendly. While you can certainly drive anywhere around the island, there are also some walkable eateries from the home including Ocean Grille & Tiki Bar, Fun Time Ice Cream, Granny’s Country Kitchen, and more! The home is centrally located one mile from downtown Carolina Beach and Kure Beach.

Carolina Beach Arcade and Four Hounds Distilling are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Carolina Beach Boardwalk and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting.

How to get the best rental value:

  • To get the best rental within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Southport restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • In the Southport area, The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.

  • At departure, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
